Somebody comes out, gets in the attic and under the floor, measures the R-value that is actually there and finds where the air is going. You keep the report and the photographs whether or not you hire us.
Someone calls you back to set a time. We measure the depth and material in the attic, look at the ceiling plane underneath it, check the rim joist and the crawl space, and run infrared where the picture needs it. You get the current R-value, the recommended one, photographs, a line-itemed scope and the rebate your address qualifies for. If the attic is already fine, we say so — that happens, and it is a better outcome for you than a job you did not need.
We will not quote a job from the driveway. We will not blow new insulation on top of vermiculite or over live knob-and-tube wiring. And we will not put a federal tax credit in your price that no longer exists — the 25C credit ended for work placed in service after 31 December 2025, whatever anyone else is still telling you.
